Highlands 41 Black Granite Red Named #1 Value Wine of 2022

Published October 7, 2022

With more than 10,000 U.S. wineries, plus imports, it’s not every day that a client is recognized as the TOP wine in a particular category. Especially a BIG category like “value” wines.

That day has come. Wine Enthusiast magazine just tapped Riboli Family Wines’ new label, Highlands 41, with 2022’s #1 value wine for its 2020 “Black Granite” Red wine.

We’ve worked together with Riboli Family Wines since 2018 and helped announce the new Highlands 41 brand almost exactly two years ago. Fourth generation winemaker Anthony Riboli said it best — “Creating this estate-grown and sustainably-produced line of wine in the super-premium price category is something my family and I are extremely proud of. Because we control everything from ‘ground to the glass,’ we have an incredible ability to deliver terrific quality at an attractive price which, in turn, allows wine lovers to feel confident that these are the wines to bring on all their adventures.”

Named after a combination of the historic Highway 41 and the rugged Creston Highlands in Paso Robles, Highlands 41 is the embodiment of the energy and excitement you get from breaking out and taking the road less traveled. Each bottle of Highlands 41 is grown from sustainably farmed estate vineyards in Paso Robles and Monterey and produced at the Riboli Family sustainably certified winery (only 4% of California wineries are certified sustainable). This brand captures the energy and excitement of visiting somewhere new, meeting new people, and exploring new adventures.
