Thanksgiving 2020: What Wine Will You Drink?

Gobble this!

Whether it’s virtual or not, Thanksgiving (and Friendsgiving) is going to be different this year. We’re here to help answer the annual question, “what do we drink with all of this food?”

Monterey’s “SLH” Vibes: Once featured on HBO’s “Big Little Lies,” here’s your chance to taste the small, but mighty Santa Lucia Highlands AVA. Perfect complements to a traditional Thanksgiving meal, some of the best Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in the world grows in the SLH AVA, a narrow, 18-mile-long coastal region tucked along the western hills of Monterey’s Salinas Valley. Our two favorites come from Hahn Family Wines, a 2nd generation, family-owned winery celebrating their 40th anniversary this year!  Hahn SLH Chardonnay 2018 SRP: $25, Hahn SLH Pinot Noir 2018 SRP: $30

The agency works with a number of exceptional Pinot Noir and Chardonnay producers. Ask us about our picks, including Baileyana Firepeak Chardonnay ($28) and Balletto Vineyards Russian River Valley Pinot Noir ($29). Or head up to Oregon with Angela Vineyards Pinot Noir from the Yamhill-Carlton AVA (SRP $38).
